[Energy Review] Spot On Energy Patch

Overview:

spot on energy patchesYou’ve seen the energy drinks, shots, and candies that kick your adrenaline into high gear and make even the most arduous of tasks a breeze, but surely there’s a quicker way of getting all that caffeine into your blood stream than drinking or eating it, right?

Enter Spot On Energy Patches, a patch that is applied directly onto your skin which makes it the quickest and most efficient way of getting the energy blend into your body next to filling a syringe with Monster and shooting it right into your veins. Which is a horrible idea anyway.

Review:

When I first heard of Spot On Energy Patches, I’ll admit I was skeptical.  I had heard of energy patches before, but had trouble imagining them to be anything other than a gimmick or, at the best, an underwhelming alternative to the standard energy drinks that make up a great part of my diet.

Surprise! It looks like I was way off. I’ve actually had them for a while now, testing them out in just about every way possible, just to make sure they really work, and I can honestly tell you that they work far better than I had ever imagined.

I’ve found that putting two patches, one on each bicep about an inch and a half away from the arm pit works the best, but you can put them wherever you want using however many patches you like. The recommended dose is only 2 patches, however, and it is stressed that you do not surpass 6 patches in a single day. About five minutes after applying the patches, it is likely that you’ll notice a slight tingling sensation directly under them which is noticeable for about 20 minutes or so. If you don’t feel the tingle, you put them in an ineffective area and will likely experience less satisfying results, so you should move them to a spot where your skin is more sensitive.

The kick itself is pretty great. After about 25 or 30 minutes of application and the tingling sensation starts to subside you’ll begin to feel the boost settle in. It’s an awesome, uplifting feeling that will help you concentrate and focus, even increasing your ability to perform physically demanding tasks, but won’t give you a case of the jitters or present an uncomfortable urge to move. The energy boost will last around five hours, at which time you just need to replace the patches with new ones for another 5 hour kick. And if worn when drinking an energy drink, you’re in for an absolutely amazing kick.

Each package of Spot On contains four separate patches for $2.99. You’ll likely use two at a time to get the best results, which entails a solid five-hour kick. After that kick is over, you still have another five hour dose to use, making the overall value of Spot On much better than Five Hour Energy Shots, which are around the same price for only half the energy.

The only complaints I have towards Spot On are definitely minor, but I’ll go ahead and discuss them anyway. The first is the horrible stench of the active ingredients under the latex patch. It’s subtle and you won’t notice it unless you stick it right up to your schnoz, though, so it shouldn’t be a problem. The second is the sticky residue left behind after peeling the patch off your skin. It rubs off relatively easily, but it’s still a slight nuisance.

Final Words:

Spot On Energy Patches are great and they thoroughly surprised me. I was expecting a worthless gimmick product but was instead treated to an excellent energy alternative that actually works, and works well. Extremely well, in fact. And at $2.99 for four patches (2 doses), you’re getting 10 hours of energy for the same price of Five Hour Energy shots.

There’s really no reason not to try these patches if you can find them anywhere, so if you come across them I highly recommend picking them up and giving them a shot.
