Well here yah go, one of the most anticipated games to come out this year. As you all know, Gears of War came out as probably the most memorable next-gen games back in 2006. I mean i was pretty excited for it. Gears of war continues the story in the trilogy and follows Marcus Fenix into the clutches of the intrepid Locust. I’m not very passionate about most 3rd person games save Mass Effect, but the game delivers. Continue reading

So That Book Didn’t Come Out…
I’m referring of course to The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy. I drove all around town this morning hoping to pick up a copy for review, but alas my search was in vain. I have high hopes that Walden Books will get it in tomorrow, but those chances are slim since their computer has it scheduled for a December release even though it came out today. I have Books A Million order me a copy, but it takes 2-3 weeks for it to arrive, so I’m fairly bummed about it.
Oh well, life goes on. I was hoping to make this my first book review, but I guess that’s not going to happen. It’s either going to be “I Am 8-Bit” or a retro review for the Metal Gear book released way back when. Anyway, keep reading Everyview!
Upcoming Review: Dragon View for the SNES
Most people probably haven’t heard of this game and actually neither have I until a few days ago, but judging from a few people I’ve talked to it’s not that bad. I don’t plan to review only things that are good. But this should give you something to look forward to from me. I’ll also gladly take any requests for games on NES, SNES, Gameboy Color/Advance.
The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy Comes out Tomorrow!
“The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy” is a book written to explore every aspect of the Zelda universe from a philosophical standpoint, attempting to answer questions pertaining to the game world by applying real world psychological theories based on emotions and thought processes. The book, edited by Luke Cuddle, is set to release November 19th but you can get it on Amazon now, and be sure to come back for the complete review posted shortly after release!!
Review: Monster Mixxd
Ahh, Monster Mixxd. What can I say about you that you can’t say better? A lot. Let’s see what you say about yourself:
Straight from the can:
It’s midnight Wednesday and the house party is about to go off. Everyone is jacked-up on the latest batch of jungle juice cooking in the kettle. Bring back any memories?
How can a little bit of everything taste so good and work so damned quick. That’s kinda what we were thinking when we came up with Monster MIXXD. We took a bunch of our back-up flavors, tossed ’em together, F-NA it’s a masterpiece.
Monster MIXXD has a juiced-up flavor you can’t describe and a creeper buzz you won’t deny.
Don’t take our word for it. Check it out yourself. If you don’t like MIXXD you can have your money back.
Now let’s see what I have to say about you, Monster Mixxd. Continue reading
New Contributor: Brandon Thompson
Hey everyone, I’ll be writing up some reviews for Everyview. I’m sure 99% of the readers have no fucking clue who I am. Well, I don’t care. You’ll be getting to hear some of my awesome reviews for old games no longer on the market for the most part. I’ll even be reviewing some newer games for the 360, PC, and DS. Once in a while I may throw in a random review about some food or drink.

Review: Myspace for BlackBerry
Overview:
Finally, after far too long of having to stop what I’m doing (porn) in my BlackBerry’s web browser RIM has decided to release an application to run your Myspace for you, without taking up browser privelages. The application is downloadable for free. All you have to do is go to m.myspace.com with your BlackBerry device and a special splash page comes up asking you if you want to download the software for free.
Since the application is rather new there are a few quirks, but let’s see how it preforms anyway.
Review:
Myspace for BlackBerry smartphones looks great. It provides a nice, clean interface in the traditional blue and white theme present on the desktop parent. There is a shortcut bar across the top that provides access to your homepage, inbox, friend requests, comments, current friends, and photos. The bar is easily navigated by horizontally moving the trackball, and accessed by a simple click. Continue reading
