[New Writer] Better Know a Guy with a Beard

Hi kids of the internets and webs. I am Daniel Gauer. I hail from the far off land of Terre Haute, Indiana. I have a few things to tell you about myself so we can be friends here on a website.

I love television. My favorite shows of all time are Arrested Development, Firefly, Lost, and Pushing Daisies. I also have an obsession with British television. My favorites include the semi-recent adult swim show The Mighty Boosh(which I purchased from England as well as a special DVD player to watch them on), The Office and the other Ricky Gervais series Extras, the Simon Pegg series Spaced, and the brilliantly geeky show The I.T. Crowd.

I am also a big fan of animated stuff too. The Simpsons is great and I will usually give everything on Adult Swim a chance, with a few exceptions (I am looking at you Assy McGee and 12 oz. Mouse). The Venture Brothers may be the best show Adult Swim has ever made. Continue reading

Hello. It is I, someone new. Yes. Considerably.

Hello, Everyviewers, I’m known as Phil, and I am a new contributor here at this fine, glorious, excellent, remarkable, tremendous (fair amount of sucking up– move on) site. I have and still do run a video game blog of my own entitled SuperPhillip Central. I have done so for about a year and half for the sole reason of combining two loves of mine into one: gaming and writing. Made sense to me at least.

A little bit about me– I’m 23, and I live in the Midwest. I’m signed up to go back to college after a two year hiatus, and I’m hoping to major in theater. There’s enough drama in my life as is anyway. Why not have some for fun with acting?

My purpose here at Everyview will be to contribute game reviews and occasional editorials as I deem necessary… or when drunk. Whichever comes first, I imagine. No, I kid. I don’t drink. I’m supposedly in the running for Games Editor, but we’ll see how much work that entails first. Perhaps that drunk remark took me out of the running…

Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you around on Everyview!

– Phil

[New Writer] Erin Brooks

A few days ago I wrote my first review for Everyview as a guest. I enjoyed writing the in-depth review so much that Zac offered me a place here! I was honored! I have a little blog of my own where I get more personal about my life, but I couldn’t pass up this chance to be a part of the Everyview clan.

For those of you who don’t know me I am Erin Brooks, a 27 year old loyal house wife (by loyal I mean I watch Monday Night RAW for my husband when he is stuck at work and give him the lowdown), mother to 3 crazy cats, an artist, a baker and so much more. I have a love of entertainment, books and Sci-Fi.

Around here I am going to be informing you guys on TV shows, movies and books! I am always open to suggestions if you guys really want me to check something out!

Anyway that’s me!

Thanks you again Zac for this opportunity!

[New Writer] Brandon Majors (No Relation to Andrew)

Alright Everyview, new writer on deck. My name is Brandon Majors (no relation to Andrew) and I am in no way related to Andrew. To the best of my knowledge anyway. I work at a cafeteria called MCL, which is pretty much the mecca of Terre Haute dining, albeit overpriced and offering basically the same foods displayed in different orders. I’m a freshman at Ivy Tech Community College for right now, but I’m hoping to be at IU next year. So there we have the two major time consumers in my life.

I think next on my introduction list should be “about me.” I’m a Scorpio, I love Punk music, long walks on the beach, and a girl who can cook a nice dinner… but seriously, I’m pretty simple. Punk and Ska music are my genre’s of choice, but I have a broad range when it comes to music. I skate when  I have the time, and I’m a big fan of Kustom Kulture (50’s and earlier cars, rockabilly music, pin-up’s and what have you). I like old cars, a lot. My current project is a ’68 mustang, but due to being poor and in college I have little time to work on it or do much of anything with it. I play a lot of them there vidya games, mostly Xbox 360, but I spend some quality time on the Wii when I have the chance.

That about sum’s things up for me, just a run of the mill Hautian who spends way to much time on the internet or on the trusty Xbox 360. Working with Everyview will hopefully give me a new hobby to pour massive amounts of time into, and most likely money, but I wont be writing any checks out just yet. (Sorry Zac!)

[New Writer] John Rogers

Before I do anything else, I would like to introduce myself to the Everyview readers. My name is John Rogers, I am a sophomore at North Vigo High School, in Terre Haute, Indiana. I’ve spent my entire life living in The Haute, a town known for its pungent smell and scandalous politicians. But despite my home town’s shortcomings I would like to think I am a very fair and balanced person.

I have a deep interest in video games, fast food, zombies, and technology. I spend ridiculous, and probably unhealthy, amounts of time reading articles about the newest and hottest things in the market. I have been a major gamer since I was 6 years old and got my first Gameboy Color (special Pikachu edition no less!) and love getting lost in a brand new video game. I have been a musician for the last 3 years of my life, fiddling with various instruments before settling in with the bass guitar. After playing in the band Situs for almost a year, I have started a new band called Before The Daybreak with my brother. If you want to check out some music you can find us at myspace.com/beforethedaybreak. I will listen to almost any kind of music, everything from The Beatles, to Metallica, and just about everything in between.

I hope when you read my articles, that you will read them as you would any other professional article on the web. I take pride in my writing and promise that I will do my best to be accurate and fair with my reviews. I will make sure to encompass a broad variety of different products, from the newest video games to delicious fast food items. I’m totally psyched to begin writing for Everyview, so in the great words of a certain, infamous Dwarf Paladin, let’s do this!

[New Contributor] Casual Clay Cunningham

I should start by clarifying I am not an entirely new member of Team Everyview, as I still share the birth name, body, irritable bowels and discolored teeth with the Clay Cunningham who’s been writing here for nearly a year.

The change is more about my approach. The other day, Everyview’s CEO (Casual Executive Officer) Zac Pritcher told me I made my reviews “too much of an event” and if I were more casual with my writing I would “experience a treasure chest of earthly delights so vast and wondrous, the lord Jesus Christ himself couldn’t improve upon them. ” These words inspired me in such a way I am proud to announce they gave me a full-blown personality transformation. New Contributor: Brandon Thompson

Hey everyone, I’ll be writing up some reviews for Everyview. I’m sure 99% of the readers have no fucking clue who I am. Well, I don’t care. You’ll be getting to hear some of my awesome reviews for old games no longer on the market for the most part. I’ll even be reviewing some newer games for the 360, PC, and DS. Once in a while I may throw in a random review about some food or drink.
